We process personal data when you:

  • Use the Unfold app
  • Contact us by email
  • Request technical support

We do not collect personal data from children under 16 without parental consent. If you think we accidentally collected data from someone under 16, please contact us and we will delete it immediately.

2. What data do we collect?

We only collect data necessary for the app to function and improve, such as:

  • Device data (e.g. device type and operating system)
  • Usage data (such as which features are used)
  • Location data (only if you give permission)
  • Data you provide via email or support

We do not collect sensitive personal data.

3. Why do we collect this data?

We use your data to:

  • Keep the app running properly
  • Improve the user experience
  • Resolve technical issues
  • Ensure app security

We only process personal data when necessary for the functioning of the app or based on a legitimate interest.

We do not sell your data.

  • Are located within the European Economic Area (EEA), unless appropriate safeguards are in place

We only share data when necessary for the app's functioning or when legally required.

7. Cookies and tracking

Unfold does not use tracking cookies within the app.

On our website (unfoldapp.org) we use Vercel Analytics. This is a privacy-friendly analytics tool that tracks anonymous visitor statistics such as page views. No personal data is collected and no cookies are placed.

8. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Have incorrect data corrected
  • Have data deleted
  • Withdraw your consent
  • Object to processing
  • Transfer your data to another party (data portability)
